A Mission trip to Honduras...

First a little background, on where we are going, and who we will be supporting. I will be back soon to continue telling you more about the trip!

Teresa Devlin arrived in June 1997 as a foreign missionary in her mother’s home country of Honduras. Teresa’s ministry began in Tegucigalpa, the Capital of Honduras, where she worked under the guidance of Rev. Larry Elliott, a missionary with the Southern Baptist International Mission Board. In March ’98 she moved to La Ceiba where she has created a Conservatory of Music for the youth and children of the north coast. It was in 1991 that God was calling her to join Him in His work in Honduras that includes the Garífuna people. She is supported by numerous individuals and Faith Promise donations from Grace Point. Grace Point works along side of Teresa to set policy and give guidance for administrative matters. Teresa currently coordinates schedules activities at the Conservatory and is working to help start an orphanage just north of La Ceiba with the support of Grace Point, other churches and individurals in the U.S. and Honduras. When finished over 100 children will be able to be housed at the orphanage.
